In this video Cindy and Alex, physical therapists with Adaptive Equipment & Caregiving Corner, review a product called the Lonnie Brace. The Lonnie Brace was designed by a Neurologist with the focus on relieving elbow pain and preventing re-injury of multiple diagnoses of the elbow resulting in pain such as Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, Tendonitis, Ulnar Nerve Damage, Tennis and Golfer’s Elbow and general elbow pain.

Lonnie Brace Features:
Made of Neoprene
Velcro strap adjustment
Can be worn on either arm
Padding to cushion the elbow
Decompresses the Ulnar Nerve
Flexible for daily use
Additional rigid hinge for stability at night

Alex utilized the Lonnie Brace after a biking accident, resulting in an elbow fracture. Alex reports that the Lonnie Brace gave her support as well as protected her elbow as she returned to daily activity and exercise. She reports the brace helped reduce her pain, by adding compression around her forearm as well as general support. Alex reports that the brace took some practice regarding learning how to put it on correctly, as well as taking some time getting use to the thickness/warmth.

**Written directions included with Lonnie Brace have been updated and clarified since the release of this video. Users will be able to better understand how to put on and take off the brace.

Overall Product Review
Overall, we think that the Lonnie Brace is a good versatile brace. It allows for protection along with flexibility during daily activities/exercise. It can also be used as a rigid brace at night in order to limit elbow bending/increasing pain. It may take some practice regarding application.

All in all, we would recommend the Lonnie Brace to our clients.
